Hood insulator clips

How do you remove these clips without breaking them.
Want to remove the hood liner.

Basically, if you have a GM door panel clip tool....slide something under and gently pry up... out...

Those appear to be the metal ones, they should pop out pretty easily, as Alan mentioned a panel tool works good... The later plastic clips often break...

If you don't care about the pad, tear the pad it'll give you better access
