Just got home shortly ago. Had a great trip. Went with Doug (who needs to register here) and Ian, aka jimynick. The auction was great to see. It was HUGE! Some cars seemed to sell expensive and some cheap. Seemingly similar cars could sell for large price differences. You guys addressed that in the other Kissimmee thread. The red AAR that sold for 195K maybe went a little high but man, it was a sweet car!
The bonus of the trip was that there is an area in Kissimmee called Old Town. It has carnival rides, go carts, a pedestrian street with lots of shops and every Friday and Saturday there is a car show. Grab a beer and walk down the street looking at the cars or sit on the patio and listen the band playing on stage. A great way to spend a warm evening, especially for us northern boys.
We met with Mark and Jim  (roadman and toxic wolf) and their friend Ron for breakfast on Friday, went to the show and then back to Mark's shop for a couple beers and to see Jim's Challenger and Ron's Cuda. Both very cool cars. Their hospitality and friendship was of Hemi caliber. Thanks again guys.  :worship:
I'll post some pics tomorrow. Right now I'm a little tired, somebody kept me up late drinking a few nights in a row.

So what did you buy ? :woohoo:

Just food and drink Alan. At the car show on Saturday night there was a young guy with a 69 Charger 440 for sale. The interior looked all right but the paint was very tired and there was bubbling under the vinyl top along the C pillar seam, both sides. It was hard to get a real good look at things with just the street lights. He only wanted $100K OBO!!!  :clueless:

At the block. The AAR went for 195K. The Charger was a very beautiful restoration by Paul Moyer and sold for 65K. 440 4 speed.

We couldn't believe that someone would restore a car and put this sticker on the wrong way. Obviously not restored by Alan.
