So, while I love the grill in my 74, I have never loved the lower marker lights / turn signals.  I always thought the 70 lower grill looked better, so This year I thought I would change things up!

Here is what I came up with:

That's clean.  Took me a minute to figure the lights were moved to the bottom of the headlights.  Pretty clever.  :bigthumb:

Less is more!  Well done, I really like it.

That is one of the main reasons I like the 70 best , who else hid the turn lights at the top of the grille ??  :woohoo:
I like the look of yours , nice & clean !!

RUNCHARGER

That looks good. I don't mind the stock ones because they sort of mimic the 70 Roadlamps.

Looks like your headlights are running low on blinker fluid... :haha:

I think you need to do a good long cruise and test them out. Let me know when we're going. :bigthumb:

I agree!  A cleaner look and less work to do when it's time to clean all the bugs off the front of the car.

I know with newer technology there is always a risk that something will not work correctly with older tec.   As you probably know a lot of newer cars have a strange way to show the blinker by turning off the headlight on the side the blinker is used.  I always thought this was an issue with wiring and should be recalled, but I was told it was designed to work this way.   It makes the blinker stand out more to other drivers but it looks dumb.   I do not think your new lights will do this because your car was not set up to have the headlights on when started.

It must be late because I'm rambling.  Keep up the good work!

Some LED's in them would be nice if you care for them.

Thanks fellas!

I am pretty happy with the look.  Hopefully the lights are brighter then the old sealed beams.

No they do not work like the lights on new cars, I thoguth about wiring them up that way, but decided not to look into it.

The LED headlights are great , cheap too , they only use the light emmiter on one side so you do not get the upward light scatter on low beam like you can with bulbs , I was sceptical at first but they have a bright white light with great power & I will assume they will last a while as LEDs generally do
