Over all I would say the market is still strong on quality cars. It's all about documentation , numbers matching etc... :alan2cents:

Key word being Quality.  Was chatting with a buddy that takes a lot of cars to BJ and he said there's always cars that are being pushed through the auctions that are not up to par.  But when good Quality cars pass over the block they rarely slip by anyone and almost always bring good money.

Finding a quality car at a steal of a price at auction is like trying to find a quality wife at a strip club.  In both cases, if you find one it's almost always going to cost you a lot of money.

I mentioned this car on another thread,  bid to 875K, no sale. Bid goes on.    https://www.mecum.com/lots/FL0117-269456/1970-plymouth-cuda-convertible/

Easily a seven figure car...must have been a huge disappointment at the auction as it was one of their "big draw" cars :crying: :crying:

I bet Tom never had any intention of letting that car go.

The AAR at $195k is mind blowing.

Yeah I agree!   WOW . . . more than the Hemi Cudas . . .  :looney:
Drive it like you stole it . . . And they're CHASING you!

Both of those prices seem fair. Assuming it is as it looks, I'd pay $51k for the purple one no problem.  :ohyeah:
