fender tag: B5 (upper body paint - I know, it's a convertible, but that's how they did it) B5 (lower body paint) P6C (white & blue interior) B7 (Upper Door Frame & convertible "boot" color)

28K original miles  :pokeeye: don't see it
added dual exhaust, passenger side mirror, snaps for "boot" NOT correct & expensive to correct
secondary hood latch, & door latch hardware shouldn't be body color

the STANDARD Sport Satellite dual stripe looked like this (V7W in both cases)

Thanks for the info.  The second B5 on the tag was throwing me off, good to know it is lower body color.  I have still yet to confirm the original miles, but am with you in doubting it has not rolled over.  I see the hood latch painted, but the door latch hardware (striker and latch) are not painted.  Do you mean the screws that @Cuda Cody was referring to?

It's a really nice looking car.  Paint was probably done just to freshen up the look.  If you contact the previous owner perhaps he'll have some pics and can shed more light on the story for you.  :alan2cents:

I think the old paint is good and bad. The good part is if they didn't take the time to remove fasteners, steering column, brake reinforcing plate etc. that they would have also done bad bodywork. The bad bodywork would be showing itself by now and popping out all over. So I would bet this car was always in nice shape.
It could be 28k, it doesn't really look like 128k unless they did a lot of work.
Detailing this car would be very enjoyable, not very expensive and yield amazing results IMO.

Is it symbolic that the picture is in front of a credit union with an empty trailer?  :Stirring:

Well I picked her up last night. Really nice shape and the paint is amazing. The owner is a big time Mopar guy and really nice. Ended up spending most of the evening chatting about cars and grabbing a celebration dinner. Big shout out to my brother-from-another-mutha @CudaKat for helping haul this one home and @Cuda Cody for verifying codes with me.

Wow! Good for you!, That looks like a great car, I just love the colours and the condition doesn't look like anything is hidden.
