A new cast iron block that is way thicker and reinforced for the street and racing is available at Muscle Motors. It is a block that they have developed that can be made into any of the three big block iterations.

I saw this a while back and have seriously been considering it. But as with anything "new" I am a little skidish as to the quality of the block. Always wanted a hemi Cuda, and this seems to be a viable option....

Follow the link. They are made to order from what the guy said. I would love to build an engine with this race block for the street. It has four bolt mains that you can even use on a 440 build.
