Thanks 71-440.That's my saying at work lol. That and "No good deed goes unpunished".Seems like anytime i find something that's not right it automatically makes you the volunteer haha,And got all my stuff ordered through Dave today. Thanks again guys for the heads up.One of the nicest guys I've ever dealt with.Straight shooter and totally painless.Or at least as painless as you could hope for when buying E Body parts  .

We all apologize now for the un ending ruthless assault on you finances!     Only thing worse is a visit to Roseville itself . It's like a kid in a candy store!    Let us know when you need an intervention?  :haha:  Be prepared/pre warned about " mission creep" ..... that's then you install a new part and the one beside it now looks like crap when a few hours ago it looked fine.  :takemymoney: :takemymoney::soshelp: :takemymoney: :takemymoney:

 seriously though Dave and John at Roseville are top notch and have always looked out for me and provided the best parts available and at a discounted price, what more could you ask! My good buddy Mike I let him know about Roseville... I shudder to think what he has spent there in the last 5 years building 3 cars.   :bradsthumb:

Hahaha!I already have the dreaded "mission creep".Before the repaint i would have been happy just to have the car one color. All the trim, bumpers ect looked great to me.Fast forward 4 years and I've touched everything i can on the car, just got the trim and bumpers back from chrome and polishing(AMAZING)and bought all new door handles and locks, all lenses...every bolt i reassembled on the car has new factory fasteners lol.Everything looks crappy against new paint.I know a lot of people go way beyond my little project but this is s a huge and expensive endeavor for me.My buddy last night came over to help me install windows and regulators and told me just put those damn bolts in,they are behind the door panel for Gods sake lol.You don't need to wire wheel or phosphate them.I need someone like him around to reel me in.Wine taste and beer budget.I've done the best i can but if i don't just finish it i will never get done and somebody else will get to enjoy it after I'm gone. Its already much nicer then it ever was before i owned it and i thought it was awesome then.Never realized how hacked it was until i bought it and started in on it.BTW,Dave at Dodge is priceless for guys in this hobby. What a great person  :drinkingbud:

Oh yeah: That's why I sold my Coronet. The paint was a bit weathered on it. I've been to many Mopar rodeos and I knew where it was going to go if I started on it.

LOL yep I'd bet your story is pretty much a common one. The desire is slways there it's just we all have different budgets to sink into these cars

leglhi

Agreed Brad lol.I told myself i could get this thing on the road for a certain amount that i had set.Double that and its almost there but still a good $ amount away.It will never see a show, but I'll be proud on cruise night and picking my kids up from school. My Chevy buddy last night gave me my best compliment so far.Hes got a pretty wicked 434 small block 67 Nova.We were doing the windows last night on mine and he said "id trade you my car right now straight across for your roller if you'd do it".And that's from a full bore Chevy nut.I felt pretty good about that lol.I sold all my other projects with the thought that i could have either 3 OK cars that would never get finished or one pretty decent one.I hope its not my last, but if it is id be happy with it.Maybe add more power later, better suspension......there we go again.
