Hey all, I have been kicking around the idea of another project besides my '70 V code resto.  As many here know I am working on getting my' 70 back to as close to original as possible.  That being said, I have a LOT of extra parts and am debating trying to find the right project to take the parts I have and throw something together for resale.

I have a complete 440-6, headers, complete exhaust, spare 489 case complete rear end and leaf springs, Wilwood front disc set up among other things.  Thinking if I can find a decent roller needing engine / trans I may recoup some cash.

I am not talking a restoration more a driver / restomod type car that still needs paint maybe... any thoughts, or better off just to sell off what I have - seems the sum of the parts are worth more than the whole sometimes....

Plus, I think I am using the "I can sell it for more when it's done" justification so I can by another Mopar......

It's a good idea but the problem is finding a decent roller for a decent price. Everyone thinks their junk is worth a fortune now!

:iagree: Trying to find a decent, solid, mostly complete roller for decent money would be a challenge.

I Think it might be easier to just sell the parts... than assemble another car.

I agree, sell the parts, with all the cost increases were seeing and the delays, the only people doing ok are the the ones who are selling the shell and parts.
I was going to do another project but when I added up all the major components, I decided against it

I thought as much, in looking at it, I just really wanted to have a '71 as well, so justify justify justify!!

I have noticed the asking price for project cars is steep for a lot of junk..

Probably make more sense if you found a roller 72-74 as they tend to be more "affordable"
Affordable being a relative term.

Looks like a 7 1/4 rear in that one. Didn't think they put them in barracudas. 🤔 Says is a 318 originally.
