I used the decoder on my Production Broadcast sheet and it shows the following for the wheels:

71 - #2944390 = 15 x 7.0 Rallye Wheel (Class 1)
TX9 - Wheel Color "Black" in Dodge / "Black Velvet" in Plymouth

The question I have is the TX9 - Wheel Color, does that mean that the Rallye wheel was painted "Black Velvet" and not the silver?

when a car had road or rallye wheels the spare was painted black & that's what is indicated on the b'cast sheet

all rallye wheels are the same argent silver

390 Rallye only came in Silver.  The wheel should be black on the back, silver on the front and the spare should be black.  @6bblgt  might have some thoughts, but I'm pretty sure all the rallye wheel cars show the TX9 for color.

He beat me by 90 seconds.   :clapping:  Dan is the best!!!!   :worship:

Thanks guys, I was confused because I have never seen Original Rallye wheels painted black...

Would look pretty cool with the silver appliques and trim rings though.......

Which leads to my 2nd question:

The decoder shows the Trim Ring as follows;

43 - #3461043 Wheel Trim Ring 15" Polished

But in the Parts Manual, it shows the following for 3461043:

22-01-41 RING, Wheel Trim

Styled Road Wheel-Class 1-1 1 44444------ 2944424
E60 or F60 15" Tire Chrome 70 - 4 - 4 4 ------ 3461043
Brushed Chrome Finish - 4 - 4 4 ------ 3461222

I would never do that on my AAR, maybe on a Resto Mod Cuda and I do have the Chrome Trim Rings, just wondered why it shows on the Decoder Sheet as (Polished) and not (Chrome) ... :D

1970 Mopar trim rings are stainless steel and some are "polished" sometimes listed as "micro-polished" & there are some references to "chrome-style" - in the long run it is all the same just different names used by marketing, suppliers, parts catalogs, kings, queens, peons, etc.
