Any input on the best place to get a side exhaust
exhaust set...

I have the exhaust just blasting straight down right after the muffler and its way too loud..

Trying to figure out best way to quite it down a but....

I've had side exhaust on a few cars, be aware the fumes sometimes waft back into the windows if they are down. And usually depending on what muffler it's louder due to the pipe exiting near your ears.

Do you mean like the factory side exhaust from 1970 AAR/TAs ?

I suggest running them out the back if you can. The side exhaust gets old pretty quick, loud and smelly. Is your car injected or carbed? You might be able to stand it if it's injected or the carb tuned super well.

Is it easy to make the 73 exhaust look like the 71???
I would think just cut out the bottom panel were it comes through the body???

Sounds like you need a new rear valance? Cuda or Challenger?

Or turn down mufflers will work with the non cut our valance panel.
