My 1970 cuda was converted to power steering. I'm installing a 40" shaft to replace the collaped 43" with the help of Cuda Cody's wonderful videos.

I found a steering coupler that measures 3-5/8" overall. It is 1.028 depth at the spline end & 2.403 in the grease pocket area.

A) Does anybody know what I have
B) Will it work with what I have?

Thank you, Joe

The steering couplers have different size holes for manual steering vs power steering.  Make sure the coupler will actually fit on the power steering unit you have in your car.

So, spline size is different. Ok. That's what you were talking about on you video. I was thinking depth. I'm trying to get the old one off. Pin is out but it won't come off. The pin area is all messed up. Acts like it's hitting something. Thank you, Joe
