Contrary to the opinions of some, I am not dumber than I look.

Chryco Psycho

No experience but it looks like a well made part  :bigthumb:

They have been selling them for awhile and they look well built but I think if ASC&P out of PA is still making them I would go with them but I think they stopped production in 2017.

They stopped.  That was the first place I checked.

Is anyone familiar with this manufacturer?

Forum member Lloyd Lind purchased this hood and posted a detailed article with pix on how he reinforced the T/A hood  to keep it from bowing. At the time, I was going to buy the hood but the shipping cost were too high. Then, Year One had a sale on the T/A hood @ $719.99 on 10/23/2017. YO also had a sale on the T/A hood pins @ $65.58. I placed the order. The hood arrived damaged on one corner and I refused delivery. The second T/A hood arrived with zero damage. :unitedstates: and made in america.

Does the Year One hood have the proper screens/squirters/etc?

I bought one of those years ago.

They are made in Mexico and shipped to TX to be distributed. It was boxed up well so I didn't have any shipping damage. Is lighter than my stock flat hood (by feel, don't have #s)

Fit/finish were OK, if I had to give it a grade I'd say fit was a B-/C+, finish was a B.

Finish:
- had a few small spots of de-lamination on the sides that were easily addressed
- had to remove some extra material around the scoop inlet hole
- smooth underside, not rough like original
- holes for pins and squirters already drilled
- no holes for draining, trim, or weatherstrip
- debris screen did not look like original

Fit:
- only four small steel coupons (2"x2"x1/4") for the hinge attach points :(  Probably would have bowed the minute it was attached. Like Lloyd, I also reinforced the side areas, used 3' flat bar glassed in both sides to help keep it straight
- this also addressed the poor angle of how the hinges would have attached to the hood
- after above was fixed, hood fit w/o issues

Another dislike of mine is the use of white gel coat. Would have been nice if they used a black gel coat.

Just be aware that you will want to put in some time to get it looking and fitting good.

If I were to buy one again, I'd probably go through YO during a good sale.

Pretty sure thats the same seller I bought mine from 10 years ago. I'd have to agree with shawege's review. Sure wished it was molded in black.
