Trunk

I used Resto Rick's undercoating inside the quarters. First I scuffed and primed them with gray DP primer, then made cardboard masks and used magnets to keep them in place and to also hold the cardboard about 1/4 inch out from the inner quarter.  Makes the edges a little softer and factory looking.  Then I seam sealed the trunk using white 3M urethane seam sealer.  Then i primed just the trunk floor, wheelhousings, tail panel and trunk gutters. The single stage FE5 with just a hint of overspray hitting the inside of the quarters for that sloppy factory appearance.  My buddy ( who's welding inside the trunk above) wasn't too sure how this would look but after I completed the look, he was really impressed.  He's been a Cuda guy for many many years and he was a HUGE help in hanging all my sheetmetal. He also was not afraid to show me tricky stuff and then have me execute it.  A really good guy!!
