Today as I tinkered with the Dodge, I stopped what I was doing and stepped back and glanced down at the grill. It brought to mind all of the cruises and shows, Mopar and otherwise that I looked at all the other fellow Moparians 70 Challengers, just to see what they had done to their cars to make them special. Looking at other 70 Challengers I would look at the grills first, I noticed that even though we all owned the 70 Challenger our approach to grill restoration varied. Some were completely painted all black, others the egg crate surround was either silver painted or painted in a mod fashion the same color as the car. Some were polished out to a chrome like look, like mine is.some were even missing. So discounting the R/T and T/A satin black, and the Astrotone grey of the part that surrounds the egg crate center portion what have you guys done with the center of the grill that has the egg crate opening. Since my own Dodge is a base car the grill notates this model. I'll post pics of mine, my grill is original from the assy. line the only place on the grill was it lost the 2 rivets that hold the egg crate surround together. I just haven't repaired that as of yet. Let's see what you have.  Thanks,   Al

I'm proud to say that @Shane Kelley is responsible for this beautiful grille. This is my original grille that had a few minor issue but nothing major. Shane completely disassembled it and made it look like you see in the photos.  :1place:
