This seems a bit strange. Will be interesting to see how it unfolds.

Don't cry.

You get to play with cars that I have never even touched before.
Hemi's and AAR's and the sort.   Your quite lucky in that sense.

The C body aficionado says it's a typo.

it is a typo - 1971 E-bodies were built at "1B" Hamtramck, MI assembly plant ONLY ("1D" is C-bodies ONLY)

She's a nice lady and I'm sure I'll be able to take some pics I also told her I'd look for the broadcast sheet

In the 90's the Belvidere plant would host the Chicagoland Mopar Connection's largest yearly show every July.  Each year there would be a type of Mopar that would be honored with the opportunity to drive through the end of the assembly line at the plant so the owner could get a picture of his car "rolling off the assembly line".
E bodies never got the chance to do this as they were too wide to fit on the line.  Seems to me all the other styles did, A bodies, B bodies, C bodies, but our Challengers and cudas were too fat!
Granted, at the time they were cranking out compact Neons there, but back in the early 70s I wonder if E bodies were too wide to fit on the line too?

Some pics she sent, Not sure why they went brown lol

Mr Cuda

Good luck on your interesting barn find.
I wonder if this will turn out like cudahunter's 72 Cuda find,  that the owner was over optimistic on price.
Who knows who has been coaching her on price. They  forgot the pigeons to get the full barn effect.

Well I think she wants to have it restored but i dont think she has any idea of whats involved, I told her I'd come take a look at it and let her know what I thought and to see if she is willing to go though with it or not. I told her I'd be interested in the car and give it a good home if she wanted to sell it
I'm sure there is some sentimental feeling for the car as it was her husband's but we shall see.

She thinks the shaker is in the truck
