Under hood parts colour

Hi could some tell be the factory correct finish on these parts please

R the horns a gloss black finish ? And the wiper motor gloss or a Matt finish as I live in Australia there are not many cars to compare too cheers

My horns are a satin black finish. The wiper motor is supposed to be a a gold chromate finish I believe. Not a fan personally so I painted mine satin black to match everything else under the hood. Wiper linkage is just natural.

I've been lead to believe that only the three speed wiper motors were the "gold" (actually zinc) chromate finish and the 2 speed wiper motors were gloss black.

Horns and wiper motor matte black...linkage pivots raw aluminum, linkage arms are a brownish tint plating...or just painted flat black

Huh..I learned something new today. When I got my Challenger the installed wiper motor was a light gold chromate finish. Thought it was original.Guess it wasn't. I painted the blower motor black as well, it was the same goldish chromate colour.

You have a 3-speed wiper motor which would have been gold chromate.. OP's wiper motor is a 2-speed which would be black paint.
