valve cover bolt keep coming loose

darn valve cover bolt keep coming loose and causing oil leaks!!! i even went as far as using the blue silicon gaskets but still leaking !!  I have the die cast valve covers and stock manifold as sick and tired of dam oil leaking valve cover gasket need help please.

You could tread teflon thread sealer , it won't harden but might add enough resistance

If your not hung up on stock looking hardware.....  These have a nylon button inserted into the tip area, they don't loosen due to vibration.. You have to actually put a wrench on them...

I choose 7/8" length which is probably about right, but McMaster Carr has lots of options..

Honestly loctite doesn't work very well in that application.. The heat causes it to release... Plus it's hard to get all the oil residue completely gone before application....

OR, if you're not obsessed about it being "stock" , you could install one of the valve cover stud kits and be done. Just my  :alan2cents:   :cheers:
