***VOTE*** Mopar Muscle Age Catagory

The reason for the poll is I want to know what every ones age is that enjoys Mopar muscle. I'm going to guess the 46-55 will win. Seems like most of us are around that age group.

Will Mopar muscle always be hot or once we all gone will it fade? I don't see a lot of younger guys with the appetite and love for these cars that we all share. Will they all just become a collector car for the rich or sit in museums? At one time you saw all the 55,56,57 Chevy shoe box cars all the rage and bringing big money. That group has started to die off and you see the prices dropping. Will the muscle car follow or will muscle always be where it's at? I believe the Hemi Cuda will always be important but what about the others?

Mopars are hot because there were not that many made, but I think they will fade with our generation much like the Duce Coupes and now the 50's cars. I do like the new generation of Muscle cars, and I think Mopar is dominating that market right now over Camaros and Mustangs.

I'm 25. Have been into the Mopar community since I was 6.

I hardly see young people in the 20's at car shows. Many are bald, white grey hair and with a belly. People that take a second look at our cars are at least in their 40's that might know what it is. Most of the younger people I know all drives imports or American SUVs. So Yes, I think mot of our cars will go away eventually with the exception of the collectible ones like HEMIs, Six Packs and TA/AARs.

I get many many teens-20s stop in the tracks and or backtrack to look under my hood. It's just another old car until they notice a new engine under the hood. Just watching the crowd at a local cars and coffee will tell you what the younger folks are thinking.

LOL. ain't THAT the truth?! My boys are keen on the car (they're late 20's) and they'll likely drive the bejeezus out of it= kinda like what they've already inadvertently admitted to, when they got their sweaty little hands on it. I can't bitch too much, I wouldn't have gotten it on the road when I needed it to be, without their help. They seem to be keen on me getting the stroker together; gee, I wonder why?

I think the problem is that the cars are darn good looking and their pre-legislated looks appeal to young and old. The reason more younger guys don't own the cars is monetary based. When they start earning more money the younger guys start buying the older cars.

There is definatly the advantage of pre emissions crap but how long before they prevent these cars from being driven at all ?

I'm 38 and debated buying a new challenger before pulling the trigger on an e-body.  Even though I have a fortune (could of bought 2 new challengers) in my e-body I have no regrets as its fun restoring a car and having something different.

I hope you are all wrong about the young folks, but so far literally every teen or 20 something always say the same thing to me...."hey man, I really like your mustang," wait, sometimes I get camaro.  I often get asked what year.

With all of the new muscle cars being built and reality shows on cars, I do feel like muscle cars are pretty popular right now. 

I hope Runcharger is right, once the youngsters have some $$$ they will get into the hobby.

I have noticed that seems to be the default by most young and old alike.  I have had quite a few Mopars and I would be willing to bet somebody ask if it was a Charger with all of them. The only twist was one day in my my Road Runner somebody at the gas station told me a had a good looking Cuda.
