I was thinking the same thing although I wonder if everything lines up when the hatch is closed.

I remember the last of the Nova line had hatchbacks.

"I remember the last of the Nova line had hatchbacks." yeah, they did, and they fit like hell and had leak issues in some as well. I was a bodyman in a GM dealership at the time and they were also very difficult to sell. As for a hatchback Chevelle, no thanks.

A friend of mine has one in his garage. Don't think it has seen pavement in 20+ years though. Says he will "fix it up one of these days..."
