Mr Cuda

I see rust and baked interior.  But thats the best deal I've seen around here lately.
Curious yellow repaint over a blue?

cuda hunter

Do you see blue?  I was wondering about that.
Makes me wonder what the original tag says.
I've asked in email a few times.
Left phone number also but it is not local so I'm not surprised no call.

Can you imagine what people think if they're not really car people and they've had this car in their yard for year...then someone tells them it's worth $15K  :o must be like winning the lottery for them....

Not saying that's what happened here....I'm just sayin :bigmoney:

I agree.  That's why deals are disappearing.

However with the economy in a terrible position and economists and bankers claiming we are headed into a depression the deals will be cheap again soon.  My real estate agents are warning me of what is about to happen which means again, cars will be cheaper sooner than later.

I personally think the car is over valued by 100%.  Looks like a 7500.00 car in my eyes.

"L" code, carb. has been changed, so has the passenger side valve cover, so some stuff has happened to it over the years.  Amazing that the A/C stuff under the hood is there. Engine would be blue, is that where the "blue" mentioned, comes from? From the pictures posted, seller has no idea as to what knowledgeable people look for on a car like this.

Mr Cuda

The blue  I  mentioned,  was the engine bay color,  which looked like b3 light blue.
I agree, it's overvalued at $15, but until the economy crashes,  which it will,  that's what some dreamer will get in at (or near).
To all you forward thinkers,  get everything you need right now,  as later, it won't just be more expensive,  but unavailable.
Besides,  fiat is worthless.
During the depression,  black market gas was still available, and the world didn't stop.
I will still be working on my cars,  doing the normal stuff while rome burns.
Oh wait,  wr can't get political.

1959-1964 Impala..........I would most likely trade my Impala for a Cuda, not the other way around...just saying

To give some perspective on the value, last fall i sold a 1970 Challenger for $6500 and I had dozens of calls. First called took it. It was complete with interior, better than the Cuda in the ad. It had a Rally hood and an NOS flat hood too. Six Pack k frame, with the oil pan shield, disk brakes, an extra grill, had a 440, but the guy didn't want it. It was a 318 car with ac, nothing special. Very minimal rust.

I think Cuda's bring a little more money, and I agree it is a little high.

This tells me that maybe you sold it too cheap ?  :dunno:

Kinda hard to read the fender tag, but it looks like a very early build.

Another oddball- FF4 green with an EW1 white painted top!

Anything over $10k for that heap is insane.

That car needs EVERYTHING:  $40k in parts, $60k in labor and you're left with an L-code automatic B'Cuda.

I think project car dreaming is just unrealistic.

Best to budget $60k for a nice running and driving car, which still can be had me thinks.

cuda hunter

I agree.
Cool option v02 though.
He's asking 15 but that isn't necessarily what he will get.
Worth asking.  Can't ask more later, usually.
