That is a sweet car! Great price!

I've been checking out this 72. Doesn't compare to the orange 71 of course but at 4K, it's in my price range. It's pretty much a rust free low mileage survivor with it's original 400 motor in it.

Looks like hideaway headlights too. At 4K I would grab that one if I were you!

Alan, while I agree with you about the car being nice and desirable; to some of us, $45k is not "not much". I know that the cars you routinely perfect are worth a ton of money, but when you've got 6.5lbs of money, a ton is a long ways away.  :(

Nice car, good colours. Sometimes these Canucks advertise a price then when you phone them they mean US$, maybe eastern guys don't do that but these lower mainland types in B.C. do.

Do you think I could turn it into a resto-mod and sell it for $100K ?  :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha:

@xx88man I've been trying to work something out with the seller. I'm good on the price but doing the deal with me 2000 miles away and winter fast approaching is adding challenges. Normally, I'd never hand over a penny without seeing it first, doing the deal in person and driving away with the car. In this case, I can't get away from work until February and the guy isn't the easiest to work with. (Another reason to be cautious). The whole car is pretty cool. Not perfect but a real time capsule.

72's arent quite as nice as 71's but that's a nice car. Rally gauges and hideaways are nice.

That's the appeal for me. Plus I like the big 400 in it.

I agree: All the little bits to change from a 318 to a big block really add up these days.

If that's in Canadian dollars then that is a VERY fair price. I love the car!

Since he says U-code I'll assume he's referring to the VIN tag.

Although, no mention of fender tag, buildsheet, and/or numbers motors.

If it's missing all 3 of those that will be a big contributor to price.

And 71 Chargers still are hit or miss.

I think they are such cool cars with so many nuances, variations, gadgets, and options.

I watched Julius restore 2 loaded 71 Hemi Charger sunroof cars. Really incredible.
