I have seen this car while trawling thru the many sites in my search for my next ride and thought some of the gurus might like to view and comment on this car....not looking to buy....just thought it may be an interesting car.

Looks like the reserve is meant or maybe there wasn't one. Still over 6 days left but might be worth watching.

It's funny how U codes don't seem to get much love, V codes are more common & clearly more desirable....

I like that car a LOT!!!!!  It's hard to put a value on rust free cars, but there's at least $10K or more money to be saved on not having to do a bunch of rust repairs.  Sure the color is not high impact nor does it have a multicarb intake, but beside that and the column shift it's a hard car not to love it.  Sports hood, rallye dash, luggage rack, cool bench seat, hood pins and it's a real deal 440 numbers matching!!!!!!  Real 440 Cuda's are not getting easier to find, that's for sure.  And numbers matching with a real fender tag.  Might even find a build sheet in there.   :fingerscrossed:

I can not express enough how hard it is to find rust free cars.  And that car appears to be as close to rust free as you'll find.  AND it looks to be fairly untouched and clean.  What does everyone think it's worth?   :clueless:

Neat car for sure, I used to love finding them in that condition. Drive it and improve it as you go.
I like going against the grain and would prefer a U-code over a V-code just because I like the less popular stuff.

Morning All....well for me (6:15am)

Bid on vehicle has jumped up to 25k so someone must like it.... :bradsthumb:

3 people at $23k or higher already.  It's a nice solid car.  I bet it would take about what that car is bid to right now just to repair a rusty cuda.  I'm telling you not to over look a solid car like this.  Would be a fun car to fix a bit and drive as is.  And if you ever want to restore it there'll be so little metal work needed that it's like money in the bank.

Looks like the trunk floor (boot to me haha) needs replacing but definitely looks to be a solid car...i would bid on it but i just cant get my head around a column shift and the interior haha.....i would most likely put centre console in it and bucket seats and paint it black but i guess thats taking away from its originality which i would prefer to restore/ leave cars the way they came from factory.

RUNCHARGER

Ha, ha. Yep that column shift just adds to the coolness of it for me.

I guess I will take this one since nobody else wants it  :haha:
Looking for the right 70 Cuda project!

An old friend had a similar U-code - just with black interior & console.

The FK5, when fresh, really pops.  It's one of my favourite colours.  The white would be an awesome contrast.

IMHO putting in a SlapStik and console would not hurt the value.

RUNCHARGER

I agree: Cool colours, $25k US so far.

Because it's a bench seat with the auto, not buckets....I would also leave it column auto... :alan2cents: Dare to be different !
I've taught you everything you know....but I haven't taught you everything I know....

Has anyone seen this car in person to vouch for the sellers claims that it is this rust free?  The lack of a pic around the dreaded rear window makes me wonder. :clueless:

RUNCHARGER

Yeah: That would help, I'm kind of liking this car.
