Wonder if there is a build sheet.

the good thing is this car is 10 miles from me.
I spent over an hour looking at it.
no tag,no sheet, he has estate paperwork to get a title.
its orig an FC7 car.
has 73 a body seats.
possibly an auto car orig.
theres no hump, a big hole was cut in the floor.
let me tell you this car needs every panel.
roof rotted
full quarters rotted.
trunk is gone.
w shield posts rotted.
cant see the pad on the block,headers getting in the way.
spare 340 is stuck.
11 drums on all 4
its a parts car.

It was worth a look.  Sorry it didn't work out.  Sometimes you have to just go look to know for sure and it sounds like you made the right call not to take it on.

I believe he still has it. A friend told me he turned down $14k the other day and decided to try and get it running so he could get more for it. From what I hear he should've taken the $14k and never looked back.
