Car has a beautiful restoration. I can't speak to the tag but having a "fake" tag to being a "rebody"  is a pretty big leap. I hope whoever puts that out in the world has some firsthand knowledge of the car :alan2cents:

Car has a beautiful restoration...

Yet, both inner fenders are not correct for 1970.

A search for the VIN turns up fraudulent sales of this car going back to 2004.
Keyword search: BS23V0B234695 turns up a lawyer commenting on Yenko.net.

@Yellow71Cuda Can you educate me on what gives away that both inner fenders are not correct for 1970?

Passenger side: Indent for vent line bracket - not in 1970.

Driver side: Bulge for battery mount - not in 1970.

For comparison, the photo below of a 1970 EV2 Hemi Cuda shows correct 1970 inner fenders. Don't get me wrong...BOTH beautiful cars.

Thanks @Yellow71Cuda

The inner fenders that AMD sells for 70 Cuda are listed as the same for 70 and 71.  Are they actually not really correct for 70s?

Technically AMD is half right. The driver's side is the same for 1970 & 1971, but the passenger side (250-1570R) is 1970 only. If you wanted the correct 1971 style passenger side, I believe it's 250-1572R

There is a grey area for early 1971 built E-bodies.
My wife's 1971 R/T Challenger has a 1/27 SPD.
Her car has a 1970 trunk floor with the shock upper bolt access holes going in from the top as compared to my mid June SPD 71 R/T Challenger that has the later trunk floor with the upper shock bolt access holes going in from the rear.

I'm no expert on the inner fenders but here is the wife's engine compartment which appears to have a 70 drivers side inner fender but later passenger side? :notsure:
Car was from Arizona, been in her family since the early 80's, never rusty, no signs of previous crash damage.

the passenger side inner fender is used 8/69 until ~11/70 (all of 1970 production & 3+ months of 1971 production)

the driver's side inner fender is used 8/69 until late in the 1971 model year, the battery hold-down "hump" shows up in late production with and without the stamped hole & weld-nut)

So is that why this car is a rebody ? Isn't there a possibility that when restored the wrong parts were used ? The later style were way more common when NOS was your only choice. :alan2cents:
