Does the tag say V6W though ?

Tag does show V6W looks like they have been on the car for a while.
V5W is a head scratcher but guy probably had the dealer put them on back in the day.

I noticed the vinyl top too.
Trunk area painted black.

Very unique color combo.
Car did go through Mecum in January.

My 71 coding guide shows the side moldings only being offered in blue, green or black. However the guide is dated July of 70, so maybe white was later offered, but those don't look like factory installed moldings to me. Appears that the stripe is factory, and the moldings were installed later, along with the R/T front fender emblems, which would have only come on a stripe delete car.

Very unique color combo.

If the moldings are just the K-Mart stick on type, they could easily be removed.... Rather have a car coded for stripes then those moldings :alan2cents:

Those moldings look like crap. That car has a lot of issues for the $$$$$. Also that console is from a 70, didn't 71-74 have the ashtray?  The RT placement on the hood look nice  ;)

Early build 71's can have a 70 console.

Not one pic for posterity.              (storage issues, pending)
Luckily the car is still for sale.
It appears it's a buyers market and prices are too high across the board.
