No. If this is indeed a total knock-off as alleged.... the confirmation of (factory) installed torque boxes could be a starting point in determining its " J " code status.   

Most factory boxes  I've seen thus far are pretty banged up....as they should.

That's good to know. Mine are pretty banged up and I was thinking this was NOT typical. Mine were used for jacking points, for years.
