That car was for sale in Missouri a few years ago, the owner had very high expectations and from his listing, and what people discussing the car on forums said, the owner had a real attitude and was impossible to difficult to deal with.  I wonder if it finally sold or if the owner just buried away in his garage and is sulking about the fact no one would pay him 200 grand when he tried to sell it?

Wow, that's interesting. Thanks for the "tag" Dan. Yes, JS23R0B294518 is still around and has been in The Lou for a looooong time. I've talked to the owner this morning and fortunately he has another original BS for the car already. Good thing, because the one on ebay might be held for ransom thinking that he has the only copy.
Cheers!

Tis' better to have owned classic Mopars and lost than to have never owned at all (apologies to Alfred Lord Tennyson)

Different car. There were actually two of the five red on red Hemi Challengers here in St Lou at the same time. The one pictured belongs to a super cool guy and has been in the family for years. The one that was for sale belonged to a guy who is as you mentioned and was eventually sold. How much he actually sold it for I don't know, but the last I heard it went to a new home out on the West Coast somewhere. Maybe it will get a resto and resurface at a show somewhere??
Cheers!

Challenger in NC

I believe the guy in MS who was selling his red on red auto Hemi Challenger back in 2018/19 was eBay seller "toomuchouzoagain". I bought some trim from him and the transaction went smoothly. He's a little eccentric, but it went fine.

RUNCHARGER

Good looking sheet, I'd want it anyway even if I had another.
