Was the 2900 a reasonable price for this piece?  Seems high, but how often are these available?

Probably only a few cars came equipped that way so the total number of breathers made (assembly line and for replacement parts) was probably very low.  Super rare part for a super cool option.  Seems like a fair price for rare parts collectors.

2946188 is the "normal" 1969 383/440 4bbl Air Grabber/Ramcharger & 1969-1971 HEMI oval lid

the ONLY "WIDE LIP" HEMI N94 reference on that page is part # 3577396

2946188 is the number for the standard oval hemi lid.
The correct TA Hemi lid has the 45% radiused lip.
To date I have never seen a part number for that individual lid
and because so few were manufactured it was possible a part number was never assigned.
I have a blueprint that shows an amendment to the print adding the lip in Dec 1969
