Care to speculate what this is or what it's worth?  I am going on the assumption that it's 71 Hemicuda convertible-specific. :)

Looks like a small blob of silly putty.  I'm guessing it's some type of lubricant.  It's hard to imagine why they packaged it this way.

Whatever it is I wouldn't open it!!! I saw something like that in a horror movie and it killed everyone!

I think that's the part number for a HEMI b-body muffler bearing, but all that's left is some grease  :P

I think you de-valued it by letting the date coded air out of the container.

the "Made and Printed in the USA" tells me it was probably from the '80s or later. might help narrow down a part # search
