A tuneup , air up the tires and drive as is, would save a lot of money.
No worries about scratching the paint then.

How about leave the body/paint as is but install a new Hellcat Hemi !

My '69 Charger got a TON of attention when I brought it to a Mopar show like this. People were checking it out all day long in flocks!
