You have personal knowledge on it? I have a picture of it from the guy he bought it from racing at Green Valley in Ft Worth in the early 80's. It been a race car for a long time. I have communicated with him through Facebook. Typical Facebook seller. You get very little information from him then none at all. It's in a town not far from me.

That was  somewhat of a red flag for me also, but if he was/is honest about disclosing that maybe there is a simple solution to clearing that up?

@Brads70 Pay the lone off would clear it up, He probably needs the money from the sail to do that.  Buyer be wear!

As long as the title is in the sellers name, I don't consider a lien to be a title issue. Many cars have liens on them when sold. The lien gets paid off, lien holder releases the lien, and seller has his clear title.
