I'd like to clean some of my fuse contacts. Whats the best way ?

Don't know if it's the 'best' way, but I'd just use contact cleaner on a q-tip. If there was some sort of gunk in there i'd wrap some very fine abrasive around a fuse and roll it in there a bit.

never had to clean fuse contacts but I was shown by a computer guru to use a pencil eraser to clean ribbon connectors. I think that would work in many situations

Mine had a lot of corrosion on them. I used vinegar and salt if I remember correctly. Then finishing baking soda. Seemed to work well. Also needed a bit of elbow grease. Maybe a small file or wire brush to get stubborn bits.

There's a product called DeoxIT that works fantastic on computer connectors, including the power connectors; I've used it to clean corrosion on vehicle switch connections, and it does work and is supposed to have a protective effect after application.

Amazon sells a fiberglass filament  pen type contact cleaner. I haven't used it yet but worth checking out. Im going to get one and if it turns out a dud you can return it worth a try.

I got tired of trying to clean mine, and cut out the entire fuse panel and replaced it with Mini blade fuse panel.

I agree - There are two products I used to clean electrical connectors and switches, etc. DeoxIt Fader F5 and DeoxIt D5. I also use a Q-Tip or something similar to add some mild abrasion to remove any debris.
