Front speaker ideas

Looking for some ideas to mount a set of 6.5" speakers up front that I already own from a previous car. Don't want to cut up my kick panels, was thinking something along the lines of a Jeep trans hump box like in the picture below. What have others done?

I put a pair of 3" (maybe 3.5"?) speakers in place of the original centre speaker in the dash. Fits under original grille.
I don't think you can put 6.5" speakers up front that will look very god. Just my
