This on my 68 Charger. I was coming home from a show tonight and after a minute on low beam my lights went out, on, out, on, out and did not come back on. Switched to high beam and all was good. Went back to low after a minute and the same thing happened. Your thoughts please.

Agree,  I've had the same issue with the dimmer switch on the floor.  clean it up and ground it proper again.  Probably make the problem go away.

My money is on the headlight switch. However...do you have the headlight relay mod on the Charger?

Can't remember..isn't there a bi-metallic overcurrent device inside mopar headlight switches of the era?

I have to tackle that switch anyways because the high beam indicator light on the dash comes on for low beam.

Well...that's a little more information...do the floor switch first.

Kinda what happened to my Barracuda, Headlights flickering on and off. It was annoying on coming traffic, drove home with parking lights and road lamps. Mine turned out to be the headlight switch, replace it and all good.

Floor switch IMO. If it was the headlight switch I think you'd have problem with high and low beam. They really get crusty down there and they're cheap and easy!

The headlight switch does have a circuit breaker of sorts in it.  My '71 started flashing the headlights after I installed a set of E-code H4 and H1 headlights.  High beam on flashed quicker due to more current draw, low beams did about 30-40 seconds on then 10-15 seconds off cycle.  Just 55W bulbs but that was enough over.  My solution was a pair of relays spliced into the harness.  No premade sets or lower draw LED headlights back then.
