Ignition Cylinder Broken Lever

Just sharing because I have no idea how this lever could break off. I discovered this after already buying 2 key-in buzzer switches (one NOS) before tearing into the bowels of the column.

A lot would say, why bother I disconnect that buzzer anyway. Well, I like everything to work the way it's suppose to. Also, this past summer I left the keys in the the ignition twice while walking around the cruise-ins all night.

That'd be great, I'm in no rush, Already removed the other half of that lever from the cylinder. Do you still have my address?

It is common to have those break off especially if you try to remove the cyl with the key in place
