So I have an early key in buzzer switch 3747116 and wonder if it'll install in my 1970 column. The '70 ones, 2947488 install with 2 screws and the late ones have what looks like an alignment nub. I'd hate to tear into this only to find out it won't. I doubt there's an answer because I can't imagine anyone doing this.

On a side note, there's a guy on Moparts selling the 1970 2947488 one but he won't respond/reply to me, maybe 'cause I'm new there or I'm Canadian  :dunno: . Also, I'm not willing to spend $125.00USD on the eBay one.

It will work no problem....it was just a cost savings/time savings measure to save on one screw :alan2cents:

FYI, just a PSA. Part numbers are not a guarantee you'll get an exact replacement.
It would seem that Ma Mopar carried the '70 part number for the key-in switch to it's updated modified housing.
