Remove the radio, reach up and remove three screws and the clock comes right out....5 minute job. :alan2cents:

This cover?

Also the knob on the front spins off?
Someday I will have a J0b.

blown motor

The knob is held on with a screw. You need a very small slot screwdriver with a long shaft. Be careful removing it, the screw isn't very big and could easily be lost.

YES...that is the clock...three screws and it comes straight out. You have a 72-74 so the knob will have to come out before  the clock.

Sweet Thanks @anlauto . Once I pass my safety I will get on this.

That black connector hanging down is power for the radio correct? The car came with the radio separately and it seems to be the only clip under the dash that is unused that fits the original radio connector.
Someday I will have a J0b.

Yes that could be the radio plug hanging down.
