Replacement battery

Went to get the car out of winter storage and my battery bit the dust. I had it on the charger and said it was charged but wouldn't turn the lights on. There's no numbers or stickers left on the old one, just need to know what battery a 72 challenger takes. Thanks

Speaking of replacement batteries, I have been noticing how good the red top batteries look. IS there any group that makes a cover to go over a modern battery?

I checked with this company and they no long sell the Mopar Topper, @MoparDave  have any idea where to get one?

Funny how their website states that they have the Mopar toppers in Stock in their FAQ's.  Couldn't tell you where to get one.  Someone needs to tell them to correct their site.

Wow, they stopped selling Mopar battery toppers?  Darn.  I got a red cap one a few years ago from Year One when I had a 30% off code and was looking for something to buy.  It's on my convertible and I really like it.  I have 2 deceased red cap batteries and a DOA yellow cap here in my house, and a repro yellow cap on order for over 2 months that I am skeptical I will ever see.  If I never had to deal with another repro Mopar battery it would be too soon for me! 
If my yellow cap I ordered never shows, I'm looking at gutting my DOA one and installing a racing battery in it.  If someone would sell a repro battery case all ready to install a small modern battery in, that would be the perfect product as you'd only have to service your setup by replacing the modern battery every now and then and never have to deal with the high expense and hassles of buying a repro battery again!!!
