During the first real drive of the season my clutch decide to finally give out, no big surprise as it had been in the car for about 20 years with lot`s of abuse both street and drag. The clutch is a Centerforce dual friction I think and since it never gave me any trouble, slipped or chattered (till it gave out) I`ll probably be replacing it with the same. The flywheel has seem a lot of heat so will also be replace and of course a new throwout bearing. The four speed is also in dire need ofae rebuild as it has been getting sticky going into second and recently third so a kit and new synchros is in order. Where is the best place(s) to buy everything - Brewers, Passon ??? price is important but I obviously wil pay for quality parts, no cheap crap.

You're going to be buying a name brand like McLeod or Ram, Centerforce etc.....I buy mine from Brewers, but I would guess the best price has to be from the big box stores Summit Racing or Jeggs :dunno: :alan2cents:

Ya, I`ll probably buy the clutch and flywheel thru Jegs but is there a difference in the 4 spd rebuild kits as far as quality?

For the transmission rebuild kits, I've only ever dealt with Brewers :ohyeah:

I bought rebuild kits from local gear suppliers  approx $150 for the kit with all the bearing seals & synros

Dan and Wanye Brewer really know 4 speeds and they have treated me good.   :alan2cents:  Another vote for Brewers.

Passon is another great vendor. If you deal with Passon or Brewers they will know what you need and have it in stock. They are also Mopar guys so even if it costs an extra $5 it is worth it to support them.

Passon is Awesome , I have dealt with him for years !
Brewers is just as good
McLeod has always been my go to for clutches I wonder if we all send them an email if they will build them again , they are far more innovative & are Mopar guys & must have the tooling to make them still

I have dealt with both, and no major problems with either.  :alan2cents:
