Quantity of Gear Oil

Getting ready to add gear oil in the 8 3/4 sure grip rear end of my 70 Cuda.  Couldn't find the capacity of the rear end in the Service Manual.  How much oil does the 8 3/4 hold?  Just want to know how much oil I need to buy.

Buy 3 quarts.   You'll need a bit more than 2 so you'll have some leftover.
