Will an original 4sp pedal assy from a 70-72 car bolt in and work in a 73?  I know there were slight differences in pad and pedal shapes but I am more concerned with function. The reproductions appear to be based on the 70-72 but are said to fit all years.  I passed on a decent original set from a 70 because I wasn't sure and now I wish I hadn't.

Should fit perfect. I think more 70-72 cars are restored so maybe that's why you see the focus there. I have a set from a later year and pedal shape seems to be the only difference.

Direct bolt in for sure. You can also cut the newer 73-74 pedal down to fit the 70-71 style rubber pads :alan2cents:

Should have pulled the trigger.  Oh well.  :headbang:

Decent sets come around. They are the same as the 71-74 b body cars too. Lots of them out there. Unless you are in a hurry, I'd be patient and watch eBay every day. I've seen decent sets go for $300 flat at times.

You will need to drill a couple holes into the firewall to attach the extra pedal bracket and the firewall is dimpled where you need to drill. It's that easy.

I've been watching.  Got excited when I ran across this even though they need work, but further investigation leads me to believe this is from an F-body.  At least the pics on Brewers sit indicate that.  The pedals have a big offset to the left, which I don't see in the E-body.  Contacted the seller but he isn't changing his story.  Am I wrong?

NOPE...he has them labeled correctly, where he went wrong is thinking B Body ones are the same as E Body...they are NOT :alan2cents:
