That sounds soooooooo nice.  If I was to own a B-Body it would be a 68 Charger.  We need a droll smiley.  I am drolling over that Charger.

It works great for sure
If I had a 2 gen Charger it would be a 70  I have owned 2 so far , 70 has 7 options not available in 68-69
Still like the 71 as well

I agree, I just love those round tail lights of the 68's. I do like the 69-70 also but the 68's really grab me! Drool!

The cam you mentioned is the one I'm running in my 451, I love it lots of power. I easily out run my buddy's 71 Hemi Cuda.  I'd pick a final gear ratio that puts you at 2300 RPM's or a little more as with my OD  and 3:55's its not " happiest" at 2000 RPM's at 65 MPH. It like 75-85 MPH but the police don't?   I got nailed my a PA state tropper on the way to Carlisle for doing 122 mph . I had been traveling like this for an hour or so. You know a beautiful sunny day, great tunes on the radio and amazing winding road through the mountains and a Mopar " singing" at 3500 or so...?( visions of Kowalski in my head?) It was only revving around 3500 or so like I did with the old 727 at 75 MPH. He was really good about it. He let me off with a " failure to observe a traffic monitoring device" I have no idea what that means but it was only $112 and I wasn't in jail!
