So my 833 is leaking a little bit of oil from the speedo cable connection. I don't need the speedo cable, I have a gps speedo. Is there a "delete" cap I can use to cap this off? If not, guessing I need new seals? Where is the best place to buy them?

the speedo pinion shaft seal is most likely missing or worn out. when that is bad is allows the fluid to get to the threads of the adapter and leak at the cable. go to your local trans shop and they should have them. used up to 1993

What gear oil are you using?  Full synthetic like Redline will me more likely to leak too.

valvoline high performance 80w90

do I need to fully drain the trans before popping off the speedo cable?
