Almost there! Closer to the start up!

So the trans is in and everything's connected except for electrical.

Was wondering about the neutral safety switch since the car was an auto what happens to that wiring now ?

Carpet I'm guessing the auto carpet won't work ?

Wiring the reverse light ? How and where ? Any pics

What gear oil to use ?

Drive shaft from 727 anything there ?

Exhaust manifolds from the auto car. Will they work with the manual since it now has a z bar ?

Thanks in advance

1) Yes, new carpet is needed. 2) Different driveshaft. 3) Exhaust is fine.

727 to 833 uses the same driveshaft ,
if you have a console you may be able to make the auto carpet work
the reverse light switch is on the 833 , you can use the auto harness , you need to use the 2 black wires to the outside pins on the NSS , the 3 rd wire is the ground for the start relay which you can ground right at the start relay or rig up some kind of switch to the clutch pedal so it cannot be started without pushing the clutch .
Use 80-90 gear oil NON synthetic
Exhuast manifolds will be fine .

CP, why do you recommend a NON synthetic gear oil?

Too slippery for the syncro rings to function properly , you need GL4 not GL5
