I am helping my father in law with his Lil Red Express. It has a basic 360, mild cam, Edelbrock heads and currently a stock intake.

He'd like to swap out the intake for something better, but this engine really wont see over 4500-5000rpm with how he drives it. He's looking for low rpm torque and drivability in all conditions.

Is just the basic Edelbrock Performer intake the go-to? The air gap will fit, but I don't believe the height is what we're after, given the target rpm range.

Hey Mike   Good to see you around...
The performer would be fine if you do a deep port match to the 360 heads from what I understand.. There may be other advantages to the Air Gap that would not need this modification, folks claim less fuel percolation issues
