I am finishing the final assembly of my motor and wondered if I put the lower gear on the crank correctly. I wanted to install it like stock lining the dots up. I'm not sure if I lined it up to the correct dot. There is one circle that lines up with the key on the crank and another that is located toward the outer edge of the teeth. I did it toward the later. Did I line it correctly?

Picture is worth a thousand words here.

The 0° [straight up] mark on the crank key should be pointing at ~2 o'clock. Then the two timing dots are aligned vertically.

That picture did the trick. Exactly how I installed it. I actually made a video of it before I put the cover on. I tried to load it on here with my company IPad with no success. My laptop I typically use died.

I think that worked. Not a fan of iPads.
