OK, so I have been back an forth a million times trying to identify the correct distributor for my application and am getting a lot of conflicting info.  I have been reading for hours on this topic and still have no definitive answer :pullinghair:

I have a Jun 1970 built 'Cuda with 440-6.

From everything I read, been told, researched and otherwise made myself crazy about my understanding is the long snout was early 1970 and there was mid year change to a standard style like what I  have (Pictured) and then in '71 the electric style vacuum advance was used.

Would love to hear what the experts have to say on the matter...

Also, this is the info I have found re: part numbers from another site, but not sure that is correct either and does not make a lot of sense to me but want to have a proper tag made at some point:

there were IBS-4014C 440-6 Early Manual, replaced by 4017 for Manual.
IBS-4014D 440-6 Auto replaced by 4017A

The above had the same chrysler number 2875981 Man and 2875982 Auto.

There also was the 4014G 3438314 for 70 440-6 Manual. Also early. 17D replaced this carrying same chrysler part number.

Then the IBS-4019 3438348 Man and the IBS-4019A 3438349 Auto these used the Chrysler Solenoid vacuum advance.

I would suggest calling Bill Rolik.  He offers allot of good items and he'll know exactly what tag you need and he can actually make it.
