Had this motor built last year and towards the end I kind of just slapped the parts together to get in it and enjoy it. Never loved the look of the air cleaner, msd box or distributor cap. It always bothered me and just looked awful.  Got around to making an oval air cleaner drop base, switching out the distributor cap and painted the msd box wrinkle black. I think the change is pretty night and day, and I'm in love with it!

:iagree: Much improved! The orange air cleaner balances out the black engine bay. Nice job.

RUNCHARGER

Yup: That looks much better. The Air cleaner makes a Mopar only statement.

Looks good! I might have considered painting the aluminum rad tank with that black crinkle, too.

Thanks all. Is this color orange considered Hemi Orange?

I am surprised you didn't paint the air cleaner cover in black to.  ;)
