After reading your story, I, like @Dakota , noticed that there seems to be a relationship between the incline angle of your car and the problem. Therefore, I would investigate your carb and in particular your float settings.
Cheers!

Tis' better to have owned classic Mopars and lost than to have never owned at all (apologies to Alfred Lord Tennyson)

Bullitt-

Perhaps the issue is what the off road folks experience that necessitates spring loaded needle/seats https://www.edelbrock.com/off-road-needles-and-seats-0935-qty-2-1465.html

covered in this article about half way through staring with "What's The Diff?"

@Bullitt- that's interesting... I may install those either way.  Thanks!

@RzeroB I took the carb off and apart last night and I did find the floats to be a be high, meaning the gap was less than 7/16".  So that is one thing.

Took the carb off and and apart, and the floats were set (by me) a bit high, less that 7/16" so maybe it's been flooding?  Also the manifold floor had fuel (wet) in it, but it was "orange"; I am thinking the color is due to the stabilizer I have put in with the fuel... it did not have much of a gasoline smell at all.  The air horn gasket was dry but all the other gaskets were wet.  Would stabilizer or other additives/boosters seep into the gaskets?

I am setting the floats (again) and putting in new gaskets, and the off-road inlet needles that @Bullitt- mentioned and see what happens.
@MoparLeo mentioned fuel pressure... has anyone with an Edlelbrock had issues with a stock type mechanical pumping making too much pressure for the carb?
