F383 Engine Stamp

Hi Guys,

I just recently found a F383 HP for my R/T build and had a question for you guys. The casting date shows 9/8/69 and the VIN shows 0E137546.  But the stamp pad has a 3 and a 6 which I would think is assembled 3/6/70?  To me the stamp and VIN don't go together or could it?  I have 10/69 built R/T so was hoping this would be perfect for that. Let me know your thoughts please.
